I'm so glad I found your blog! My husband and I just recently saw a painting that Frederick Bridgman did and were wanting to see more. I will be a frequent visitor to your blog.

Fredrick and Charles are my Great Uncles . . . we have two of their paintings hanging in my Dad's house, both gorgeous women. One is clearly an Algerian woman on a rich looking terrace. The other painting is by Charles Bridgman and it is a really spectacular Redhead, with her pretty head turned to the side, dressed in a golden sheath with a dark green background. Both are signed and were in the home of my Grandparents, Harold and Louise Bridgman. Harold was their nephew (his Dad sent them to Paris and supported them so the story goes), and he inherited them.

They are so magnificent and its wonderful to see your blog and pictures I have never seen before.

Thank you for featuring my great uncle . . . It makes me happy that he is still so popular today!
